On November 14th, Women in Tech® Global held its 8th annual awards ceremony in Paris, featuring two program segments that brought together technology leaders from 52 countries.

Event Structure

The day’s program consisted of two sessions:

  • Afternoon Conference (14:00 – 16:00) École des Ponts Business School 6 Place du Colonel Bourgoin, 75012 Paris

Conference Program Highlights

The afternoon conference at École des Ponts Business School featured panel discussions and keynote presentations addressing current challenges and opportunities in the technology sector.

  • Panel: “The Future is Fierce” Youth Regional Winners discussed emerging trends and perspectives from the next generation of technology leaders.
  • Fireside Chat Sasha Rubel (Amazon) and Kathryn Rose participated in a discussion on innovation and technology development.
  • Panel: “The Future is Partnered” Sara Wadeson, Titi Akinsanmi, and Erika Reeves examined strategic partnerships and collaborative frameworks for addressing global technology challenges.
  • Regional Directors Session Women in Tech® Global Regional Directors—Nyla Beth Gawel, Melissa Slaymaker, Jessica Freundt, Yuki Aizawa, and Safia Agueni—presented regional program outcomes and impact metrics.

About the Venue

The conference was held at École des Ponts Business School, the graduate business school of École nationale des ponts et chaussées. The institution’s parent school was established in 1747 by King Louis XV and is recognized as the world’s first civil engineering school.

Awards Ceremony

The evening ceremony at the Residence of the President of the Senate recognized 65 finalists across ten award categories. Senator Marta de Cidrac hosted the event at Le Petit Luxembourg.
