Both speakers highlighted the importance of innovation, talent development, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Belgium and Luxembourg as key drivers of economic competitiveness.
Minister Lex Delles delivered a keynote speech outlining his vision for Luxembourg’s economic future, emphasizing the growing importance of innovation and defense as pillars of national strategy. He presented key initiatives, including the ambitious “10 Points for Startups” plan aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and simplifying administrative processes to accelerate innovation. Minister Delles also underscored Luxembourg’s commitment to sustainable energy development and industrial competitiveness within the European context.
The evening concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Rik Vandenberghe, President of the Business Club Belgium-Luxembourg, followed by a cocktail reception that fostered further dialogue and networking among participants.
